About ERGOFITO

     Ergofito:
  • Is used effectively in waste treatment to transform any inert organic matter to its most basic constituent, namely Humus.
  • It is a highly aggressive natural mixture of bacteria and enzymes that compete and eliminate biologically pathogens that it comes into contact with.
  • Preserved in their natural polymeric units the organisms have a shelf life of 5 years when stored in ambient, sheltered conditions.
  • Biologically, Ergofito is extremely competitive and withstands aggressive attacks from other organisms.
  • It eliminates hazardous organisms and organic toxins with their fast-growing populations.
  • It stops working when there is no oxygen or dead organic matter available to them.

Ergofito production solutions offer:

  • Ability to restore fertility to exhausted, polluted, desert and eroded soils;
  • Remediation of ravines, estuaries or any environmental vegetation;
  • The cleansing of contaminated water and industrial effluent;
  • Volume reduction and toxicity treatment of waste;
  • The elimination of odours and pathogens in organic waste;
  • The breakdown of Oil and Oil Residues;
  • The rehabilitation of water bodies;
  • Cleansing & de-odourizing industrial drainage systems.

Ergofito bacteria thrive in aerated effluent and eliminate hazardous organisms and organic toxins.
From the first treatment one can expect to observe the high reduction of C.O.D’s (chemical oxygen dependence) and the decomposition of oils, fats and greases.

The discharge is environmentally friendly and the treated effluent is a ideal and nutrient-rich irrigation water. It has all the minerals in safe and organic compounds that are safe for agricultural use provided the level of heavy metals is within the acceptable international norms.
Ergofito eliminate  pathogens in raw sewage ( such as E. Coli and Salmonella ) in water bodies. This is achieved by both consuming the compounds that pathogens thrive on and by starving the pathogens themselves.

A dramatic decrease of C.O.D’s, B.O.D’s, phosphorous and ammonia occurs. A potent de-nitrifying action transforms the polluted bodies into nutritious substances which vegetation can readily absorb.

Ergofito generally eliminates pathogens in hours. The short time factor is due to the natural life of pathogens.
The usual practiced way of eradicating pathogens is by use of chemical products or ultraviolet exposure that presents a significant cost and environment challenge.

Sewage discharge is converted into a nutrient rich fertilizer that could be used for agricultural purposes.

Polluted drains, open channels and waterways usually emit a malodorous odour (especially in cases of high concentrations of urine), conventional methods used to treat odours emitted by various effluents concentrate on the symptoms and do not treat the odour causing organisms.

Ergofito has been used extensively to engender enhanced plant propagation and has been successful in many different applications to promote a naturally healthier crop of agricultural produce.

Due to its highly effective manner of aggressively targeting hydrocarbons, Ergofito has been used with great success in different parts of the world rehabilitate water and soil contaminated by oil.
Ergofito has as well been used to regenerate lifeless soil into a mineral enriched arable land for cultivation.

Over the last few decades Ergofito has been successfully used to alleviate pollution issues in a variety of programs. Some (not all) of these are detailed below:
  • Corno river, Italy 2004
  • Oil Contaminated Soil, South Africa, 2009
